The conference venue will be the Elisso Xenia Hotel. Located in the Old Town of Xanthi, it offers an excellent location for both business and leisure guests. Just a few steps from all city sites and the city center, the hotel is surrounded by traditional bars and restaurants, art galleries, churches, and monuments of the Old Town. There isn’t a better base for experiencing the endless stream of delights that Xanthi has to offer. Xenia Hall is located inside the hotel, and it can accommodate up to 400 people for conferences.

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace
The conference will be hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Democritus University of Thrace, a leading academic institution in Greece founded in 1973. Located in Xanthi, the ECE Department is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and innovation, offering students hands-on experience and opportunities to conduct cutting-edge research in various fields including telecommunications, power systems, microelectronics, and computer engineering.
The Department was founded in 1975, belongs in the School of Engineering, and it has more than 35 professors. It provides to its post-graduate students three specialization areas, and there exists a fully organized Postgraduate Studies Program that leads to either a Ph.D. title or a master’s degree. The majority of the Department’s activities are carried out at the University Campus of Kimmeria (teaching classes, professors offices, secretariat), a few kilometers outside the city of Xanthi; while in the single complex of prefabricated buildings, downtown, the Department uses only one of the buildings (Building XIII) for labs purposes.
